How I approached migrating legacy Dealer.com sites into the Porsche Center Websites (PCW) platform, and why those decisions matter for consistency, brand integrity, and dealer performance.
I didn't treat this like a copy-paste exercise. I looked at each legacy Dealer.com site and asked: How would Porsche design this page themselves?
I studied Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and North Atlanta to identify the PCW template structure, then applied those patterns consistently while preserving each dealer's unique voice.
Anyone can move content around. The value I bring is judgment: knowing what to keep, what to cut, and how to re-express it so it feels authentically Porsche.
The homepage sets the tone. Porsche doesn't shout. It implies mastery. Typography, white space, and copy density were all tuned to feel like a Porsche-authored page.
Porsche "About" pages read like museum placards: composed, factual, minimal. I captured that feeling while keeping the unique Downtown LA aspects that matter to shoppers and search engines.
Finance pages are emotionally loaded. If they feel like subprime lender landing pages, they undercut Porsche's premium positioning. I reframed financing as a natural part of ownership: clear, confident, controlled.
This page demanded editorial restraint. I treated it like a conservation project: taking authentic Porsche Monterey content and rebuilding it faithfully inside the PCW design language.
This work demonstrates more than technical competence. It shows judgment. I understand Porsche's design language, editorial tone, and the realities of dealer content.
I can scale migrations without sacrificing the craft that makes the brand what it is.
I get your brand, and I can scale it across your dealer network.
